Why there’s no catalogue here

We sell the florist’s eye, not a photo to match

Flowers aren’t made in a factory. What comes in from the growers changes every week with the weather and the season, so a photo of one exact bunch is a promise that’s hard to keep every week.

So we promise something better. You tell us who it’s for, what you’d like to spend and the colours you love. Then your florist looks along the buckets that morning, chooses the best stems we have and makes them up just for you.

  • Your occasion, your budget and your colours, every time
  • The freshest stems in the shop on the day
  • Made up fresh when you order, never sitting in a fridge

How ordering works

Three choices. We do the rest.

It takes about a minute. There’s no catalogue to scroll through and nothing to get wrong.

  1. Choose the occasion

Who are the flowers for, and what are they saying? It helps your florist get the feeling right.

    • Birthday
    • Thank you
    • New baby
    • Just because
  2. Set your budget

Pick a size you’re happy with. The price is the price: you’ll never get less because a flower was dear that week.

    • $65
    • $90
    • $130
    • plus delivery
  3. Pick a colour mood

Soft and pale, bright and happy, rich and moody? Choose a mood, not a flower.

    • Soft
    • Bright
    • Moody

Then your florist chooses the stems on the day, makes them up fresh and sends them on their way.

Spring is properly here

The days are longer, the growers are busy and the shop smells like freesias. Here’s what’s looking good in the buckets this week:

  • Tulips Grown here in Southland. Buttery yellows, soft pinks and a few deep purples.
  • Ranunculus The first of the season, mostly peach and blush, with paper-thin petals.
  • Anemones White with inky centres, and one bucket of deep red.
  • Freesias White and lemon, for scent. One stem fills a room.
  • Native foliage Pittosporum, coprosma and a little harakeke for shape.

This is a guide to what’s around, not a promise. If the anemones sell out by Thursday, your florist will choose something just as lovely in the same colour mood.

Our style

Loose, generous and full of what’s in season

Every bunch we make is different, so these photos show our style, not an exact match. Yours will be made from whatever is freshest in the shop on the day, in the colours you choose.

Kind words

What people say

I asked for something sunny for Mum’s seventieth and left the rest to them. It was better than anything I’d have picked from a photo.

Karen, Waikiwi Sample review

They rang to say the first peach ranunculus had just come in, and would I mind them instead of roses. Not one bit. Mum still talks about them.

Sam, Gore Sample review

Ordered at half eleven for my sister’s new baby and asked for soft and pale. A beautiful little posy was at her door before three.
